📋 Description

• Support the preparation of quotes, renewals, and new client onboarding • Collect and organize data on participants, premiums, claims, benefits utilization, and plan results • Coordinate the collection of information with group insurance providers and the underwriting team • Track upcoming renewals and conduct the necessary follow-ups • Use loss ratios and target loss ratios to help estimate approximate rate changes • Format spreadsheets and presentations related to quotes and renewals • Review insurers’ experience reports and flag discrepancies requiring follow-up • Serve as a point of contact for current and new clients by coordinating their questions and requests • Collect the documents required for quotes, renewals, and onboarding • Collaborate with underwriting and administration teams during new client onboarding and transitions from other insurers • Prepare files for submission to insurers and follow up on rate proposals • Prepare client communications and support employee enrollment activities • Liaise with insurers, underwriters, and service providers regarding pricing, plans, technical results, and implementation • Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant client files and tracking documentation

🎯 Requirements

• At least two years of experience in underwriting, underwriting support, group insurance, insurance, or a related field • Understanding of the data collection methods used by underwriters and the information required to prepare a group insurance renewal • Practical knowledge of using loss ratios and target loss ratios to estimate the rates for the coming year based on historical ratios and plan results • Interest in developing skills in account management, consulting, and business development • Knowledge of group insurance products, renewals, pricing, or technical results analysis is an asset • A licence or certificate authorizing the provision of advice to group insurance clients in Quebec is a strong asset; candidates who do not hold one will be required to begin the process of obtaining it in Quebec upon hiring • CEBS, GBA, or equivalent professional designation is an asset • Postsecondary education in business administration, finance, insurance, or a related field is an asset • French-English bilingualism required • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
