📋 Description

• Research, design, develop, and deliver value-added Treasury Management products for Flagstar’s retail and wholesale clients • Oversee product metrics, launches, performance, continuous improvement, and compliance • Manage the product lifecycle from conception through launch, including development, business case, and implementation • Work with MIS/Data Science to translate business requirements • Identify product opportunities and gaps, assess financial impact, and inform multi-year product strategy and prioritization • Develop and maintain a product roadmap balancing strategic objectives, capital investments, marketplace differentiation, customer experience, compliance and risk, and sales needs • Lead matrix teams and collaborate with IT, HR, marketing, Audit, Risk, finance, operations, technology, sales, and customer service • Build enterprise partnerships and coach teams toward impactful partnerships • Play a lead role in marketing products and ensure training and education on product positioning and functionality • Conduct customer research to ensure products resonate and support continuous product maintenance • Promote and support the product portfolio throughout the organization • Make decisions using independent judgment and discretion; analyze and resolve problems • Perform special projects and additional duties as required • Travel to client offices, prospects, branches, and various functions 75% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field; banking experience in the same or similar role may be considered • 4+ years of experience researching, designing, developing, and/or delivering value-added products in payments, banking, or FinTech • Experience developing and driving product strategy or sales • Experience transforming customer and business needs into an actionable product roadmap that drives business results • Experience creating market research summaries, competitive analyses, product comparisons, business cases, business and product requirements, workflows, and customer journey maps • Experience with digital product development and cross-functional delivery • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills • Wholesale receivables/payables solutions expertise • Strong organizational and project management skills and attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Direct involvement with or voice in receivables networks such as NACHA, The Clearing House, AFP, and external vendors • Knowledge of treasury management products and services • Expertise in business cash flows, accounting processes, and financial optimization • Expertise in treasury management value propositions within a corporate treasury environment • Knowledge of UCC, Reg CC, Reg E, and related regulatory guidance and oversight • Sales and negotiation aptitude, including communication at senior executive level • Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources to resolve service challenges or develop solutions • Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder and client relationships • 75% travel to client offices, prospects, branches, and various functions • Must adhere to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations • Preferred: Master’s degree or postgraduate equivalent • Preferred: Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and/or Accredited ACH Professional (AAP)
