📋 Description

• Write and maintain automated test suites in Java • Understand the customer problem behind what is being tested • Design tests for API timeouts, corrupted or mismatched data, and systems falling out of sync • Track failures to their root cause • Use modern tooling, including AI, efficiently and review its output carefully • Work closely with developers through code reviews and team discussions to maintain quality • Test the production integration platform used by real customers

🎯 Requirements

• You've already completed a co-op term or have some professional work experience • You're currently studying Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field • A solid foundation in Java • You've written automated tests before, even for a class project (JUnit or something similar) • You've worked with or learned about APIs • Strong analytical thinking • Thoughtful approach to new tools, including AI tools • Ability to review generated output carefully and stand behind the result • Curiosity, motivation, and satisfaction from finding what others miss • Nice to have: Experience with testing frameworks or tools (JUnit, Selenium, Postman, REST-assured, or similar) • Nice to have: Familiarity with REST APIs and how data moves between systems • Nice to have: Interest in integration platforms (iPaaS) • Nice to have: Curiosity about large systems and integration failures
