• Develop and execute on joint strategy with your direct salesperson • Collectively work with Fortinet’s teams and partners’ teams to develop “go to market” offerings • Develop and launch managed service offerings with partners • Primary technical point of contact for partners in collaboration with sales partner • Continuously improve knowledge around Fortinet products and competitive landscape • Position Fortinet solutions to partners confidently • Manage time effectively on multiple deals • Maintain accurate information of customers and prospects in CRM • Help drive technical webinars and hands-on demos • Train teams at SE Training events • Collaborate with multiple business units within partner
• 5 – 8+ years’ experience in technical/pre-sales support as a pre-sales or security expert • Ability to think outside of the box and self-motivate to drive sales • Working in a pre-sales engineer role, managing end to end technical aspects of deals • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and impact on key wins • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships • Public Speaking experience • Strong presentation skills • Strong communication and writing skills • Previous experience on responding to RFPs is beneficial • Experience explaining technology topologies via whiteboarding, Visio and other methods • Strong understanding in TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, HTTP, SMTP, LDAP, Active Directory, Public Key Infrastructure, and SSL protocols.
