📋 Description

• Coordinate a business analyst team’s duties and activities on IT projects • Nurture newer team members by providing guidance and support • Serve as a bridge between clients, project managers, and technical staff • Define, document, and share business requirements and expected impact • Develop business specifications at the start of technical projects • Align business requirements across the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation and support • Analyze, plan, design, document, and recommend business process improvements • Support healthcare and Medicaid claims processing initiatives and related system enhancements • Verify requirements by approving and validating test results • Use Excel or SQL to quantify anticipated work impact

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role • 3+ years supporting Medicaid, Medicare, and/or Medicaid Claims programs preferred • Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills • Ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, business leaders, and technical teams • Experience leading requirements gathering sessions, documenting business processes, and validating solutions through testing and stakeholder review • Leadership skills and ability to mentor team members and influence project outcomes • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Knowledge of software development concepts including configuration, development, integrations, and batch processing • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SQL, and requirements management tools such as ALM • Experience working within enterprise applications and workflow platforms • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams to support system enhancements, implementations, and healthcare claims processing solutions
