📋 Description

• Connect with clients daily. • Gathering information and answering any questions they may have • Verify, allocate, post and reconcile transactions • Produce error-free accounting reports and financial statements and present their results • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures • Prepare corporate and personal tax returns and advise on tax planning opportunities • Analyze complex financial reports and records • Assist with financial and tax audits • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential • Correspond with CRA and government agencies as required • Collect and analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial problems • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data • Other projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• An ideal candidate has between 3-5 years experience working with a public accounting firm. • CPA student working towards their CPA designation considered an asset. • Relationship management • Experience in leading client meetings • Attention to detail and accuracy • Planning and organizing • Strategic thinking • Strong communication skills • Information and task monitoring • Problem identification and analysis • Judgement and problem solving • Teamwork
