📋 Description

• Formulate and define system scopes and objectives based on user needs and business systems and industry requirements • Analyze business and user needs, particularly interfaces involving third-party or outside systems • Document requirements and translate them into project specifications • Coordinate with clients, business leaders, software architects, development teams, software engineers, project managers, and QA staff • Identify and document project direction, scope, and dependencies • Translate business requirements into concise system requirements • Identify and quantify business-process and system improvements through technology • Foster communication between technical and non-technical audiences • Identify, document, and diagram business requirements and processes • Assist with validation and testing of interfaces against design specifications • Facilitate team and client meetings • Track and communicate project status, issues, and mitigation strategies • Resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner • Review customer change orders, update requirements documents, and recommend implementation of modifications • Inspire coworkers, manage innovative change, and identify improvement opportunities • Coordinate client training with training staff and assist as needed • Prepare and deliver training updates via webinars

🎯 Requirements

• Prior Business Analyst experience in an IT/software setting • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Ability to take ownership of projects and complete them accurately and efficiently • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and deadlines • Experience with business analysis and requirements definition • Experience building test plans • Knowledge of project management methodologies and practices • Strong knowledge of project management and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) of large-scale development projects • Extensive understanding of multiple functional areas related to complex projects • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills • Strong leadership skills with a proven past to drive results and affect change • MS SQL Server and query knowledge • Ability to track data through the database as it relates to the application • General understanding of application programming, database and system design is a plus • Understanding of Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures is a plus • Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project • Knowledge of relational databases and basic SQL query techniques • Experience interfacing with customers, internal managers and staff • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience preferred • May be required to travel to client sites, National Conferences, and marketing presentations
