📋 Description

• Own design for a product area across its full lifecycle, from research and ideation through high-fidelity design, specification, build QA, and release • Design across web, mobile, and tablet platforms on iOS and Android • Collaborate daily with Product and Engineering as a trifecta • Contribute to and enforce the design system across shared, web, and mobile components • Use existing design patterns or enhance them before creating new ones • Identify and flag design-system drift • Use Claude and Figma Make for research synthesis, data answers, iteration, prototyping, and critique • Talk to restoration-professional customers to understand their work context • Run or contribute to workshops • Add to objective and epic briefs defining opportunities • Pressure-test ideas using stakeholder and customer input • Mentor and contribute to the shared design practice

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a product or UX designer • Portfolio showing full-cycle ownership • Strong Figma craft, including component-based design, systems thinking, prototyping, and engineering-ready specifications • Familiarity using AI tools in a design workflow • Judgment about when AI tools help and when they do not • Ability to design for technical constraints and discuss tradeoffs with engineers • Experience with usability testing • Habit of incorporating critique and feedback • Comfort in a fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous environment • Ability to adapt without losing quality • Design mindset that helps improve the overall design practice • Willingness and ability to talk to customers in hectic, high-stress job-site contexts
