📋 Description

• Serve as the primary on-call technical point of contact for emergency response, troubleshooting, and outage restoration • Act as the primary on-site resource for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and technical inquiries regarding AC Substation equipment • Provide technical support for SCADA communication architectures, DFR event reports, and protection relay schemes • Assist in developing normal, emergency, switching, clearance, temporary earthing, and covered-equipment maintenance procedures • Provide mentorship and hands-on training to customer personnel • Ensure contractor-provided documentation reflects current site as-built designs • Ensure scheduled maintenance is executed according to the Annual Work Plan • Review spare parts lists, inventories, and specifications and assist with inspection and testing • Monitor substation performance data and provide system health diagnostics • Advise customer management and liaise between the site and GE Vernova regional engineering centers • Champion EHS standards and mitigate high-voltage risks on-site

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or related technical discipline • 5 years of experience supervising high-voltage substations • Minimum of 5 years of proven field experience • Be available for work on project sites in US • Strong field leadership and decision-making • Ability to read and interpret SLD, general arrangement drawing, installation and commissioning procedures • Strong understanding of EHS requirements for high-voltage project sites • Excellent coordination and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple contractors and interfaces simultaneously • High attention to safety, quality, and detail • Practical problem-solving in construction environments • Ability to work under schedule pressure while maintaining standards
