📋 Description

• Manage and supervise BWR Refuel Floor maintenance activities, including reactor disassembly, reassembly, and in-vessel maintenance • Support safe execution of complex BWR 2–6 Refuel Floor outage projects • Manage all aspects of projects from ITO through OTR • Lead and coach multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, including craft labor and contingent workers • Directly supervise union and non-union personnel performing BWR Refuel Floor outage maintenance • Provide project delivery planning leadership, transition planning, risk identification and mitigation, and contingency planning • Support commercial proposal development with technical input on labor quantities, labor hours, tooling, and logistics • Interact with senior customer and supplier management on commercial, execution, technical, and compliance issues • Support product line proposal development, product development, growth initiatives, and training development and delivery • Provide subject matter expertise on reactor maintenance, in-vessel tooling, and GVH OEM equipment • Ensure high-quality deliverables comply with customer requirements, business procedures, and regulatory guidelines • Drive standard GVH processes and procedural compliance across projects • Support multiple domestic and international refueling outages per year at customer-owned plants • Support off-season spent fuel pool cleanup and dry cask storage projects • Instruct GVH Technical Training courses in Wilmington, NC and San Jose, CA • Perform other assignments as business needs dictate

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline and 5–7 years of experience in BWR Refuel Floor Outage Maintenance activities, OR a High School Diploma with a minimum of 8 years of experience in BWR Refuel Floor Outage Maintenance activities • Previous experience as a Refuel Floor Lead Technical Director, Refuel Floor Project Manager, Outage Manager, or equivalent supporting Refuel Outage maintenance activities • Previous experience related to Project Management • Ability and willingness to travel up to 70% domestically and internationally • Ability and willingness to support off-season Spent Fuel Pool cleanup and Dry Cask storage projects • Ability and willingness to instruct GVH Technical Training courses • Ability and willingness to pass Fitness for Duty and site security requirements for domestic and international site unescorted access • Ability and willingness to attend additional GEH training and certification programs • Ability and willingness to work in radiation-controlled and radioactively contaminated areas • Ability and willingness to work 12 hours per day, seven days per week when delivering field projects • Ability to manage effectively through high-stress conditions • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Ability to climb ten flights of stairs twice per day • Ability to pass respirator fit test and physical • Legal authorization to work in the United States • Ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if applicable • Knowledge of nuclear power plant refueling, maintenance, inspection, and modifications • Knowledge of BWR and PWR vessels and components, NSSS, and Containment Buildings • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, P6, PLM, and Oracle ERP • Strong oral and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Strong attention to detail and ownership of outputs • Well organized and self-directed
