📋 Description

• Develop and execute the regional Project Procurement strategy aligned with business growth objectives • Lead the evolution of the Project Procurement organization to support increasing business complexity and future growth • Lead, coach, and develop approximately 30 procurement professionals through multiple Team Leaders • Establish succession planning and leadership development programs • Lead procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle, including procurement strategy, purchase order execution, supplier performance management, expediting, documentation management, commercial issue resolution, claims support, risk mitigation, and final project closeout • Ensure procurement activities meet project commitments for schedule, budget, cash flow, quality, safety, and customer expectations • Establish standardized procurement processes and drive best practices and operational discipline • Develop KPIs and performance dashboards • Improve productivity through Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives • Lead digital transformation involving procurement systems, reporting, automation, and analytics • Strengthen strategic supplier relationships and executive-level engagement • Monitor supplier quality, delivery performance, and commercial competitiveness • Drive supplier performance improvement and support supplier development and qualification • Provide senior procurement leadership and strategic guidance to Project Directors, Project Managers, Commercial Leaders, Engineering, Finance, Quality, Planning, Construction, and Global Sourcing • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, maintain governance, mitigate risks, support contract strategy and negotiations, and ensure audit readiness • Drive cost optimization, cash flow management, forecast accuracy, budget adherence, productivity improvements, procurement savings, and claims mitigation • Influence senior leadership across a matrix organization and lead organizational change

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related discipline • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Management, or EPC execution • Minimum 8 years leading large procurement organizations • Demonstrated experience leading managers and developing leadership teams • Experience supporting large-scale industrial, infrastructure, energy, or EPC projects • Experience operating within a complex global matrix organization • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills • Fluent English • Ability to travel 50% of the time • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills • French is a plus • Power BI is a plus • MBA or Master’s Degree preferred • CPSM, CIPS, PMP, or equivalent professional certification preferred • Experience with SAP and digital procurement platforms preferred • International project procurement experience preferred • Experience managing organizations of 20+ procurement professionals preferred • Knowledge of high-voltage electrical equipment, EPC execution, construction, logistics, and supplier quality preferred
