• Operate heavy earthworks and processing equipment directly, maintaining peak performance • Resolve unexpected mechanical and site obstacles without step-by-step guidance • Lead remote work sites by setting high standards for work ethic • Hold self and crew accountable for safety, output, and quality • Work independently across distant project locations • Manage daily tasks, equipment care, and project deadlines • Take full accountability for field outcomes and project execution
• Extensive experience operating heavy earthworks and processing equipment, such as forestry or gravel crushing equipment • Landfill experience is an asset • Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and adapt to changing site conditions • Ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan • Availability for significant travel throughout Western Canada • Ability to work a schedule involving heavy overtime • Ability to work independently in a high-pressure, autonomous environment • Ability to make sound, on-the-spot decisions • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located • Must provide valid documentation confirming eligibility to work before starting • No visa sponsorship is provided
