📋 Description
• Prepare and review individual, corporate and partnership tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state tax regulations. • Create tax working papers prior to uploading to the tax software • Work with senior member of the team in tax preparation and analysis • Prepare and review Schedule K-1s and supporting schedules, ensuring accurate reporting of each partner’s share of income, deductions, credits, and distributions. • Utilize tax software for tax preparation, filing, and reporting. • Collaborate with the executives with partners to provide efficient service delivery • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify tax-saving opportunities and provide proactive tax planning strategies. • Ensure timely submission of tax documents and respond to any inquiries from federal or state tax authorities. • Stay current with changes in tax legislation, particularly California tax laws, and inform clients of relevant updates.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or EA certification is a plus. • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in US tax accounting with experience doing taxes on partnerships for US based client • Proficiency in common tax software • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. • Willing to work US hours • Fully remote work
