📋 Description

• Analyze the work to be performed using tender documents, specifications and drawings • Perform quantity and material takeoffs from drawings • Analyze direct and indirect costs related to the project • Request price quotes from suppliers and subcontractors • Recommend, when necessary, alternatives to what is specified on the drawings • Participate in the preparation of the formal bid • Other job-related duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Vocational diploma (DEP) in Electricity or significant relevant experience • Minimum five years of experience in electrical estimating (commercial and industrial) • Experience working on construction sites (asset) • Good knowledge of construction and industrial electrical systems, instrumentation and control (asset) • Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code • Excellent ability to read, analyze and interpret plans and drawings • Ability to manage priorities in a multi-project environment • Self-directed, detail-oriented and organized • Fluent in French; functional proficiency in English
