📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and operate highly available backend services in Java and Golang • Develop advanced dialing plan and IVR features, including dynamic routing logic and context sharing between calls • Deploy, monitor, and support production systems on Kubernetes, including participation in on-call rotations • Modernize and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), and contribute to system reliability and observability • Collaborate within a small Kanban team: review pull requests, contribute to architectural decisions, and use AI-assisted development tools daily (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude)

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in backend development with Java and solid knowledge of Golang, with experience designing and operating microservices in a cloud-native SaaS environment • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux/macOS, and with deploying, monitoring, and supporting production systems • Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, SQS), Git/GitHub, and modern CI/CD workflows • Ability to own end-to-end features — from design to production — with a strong focus on quality, maintainability, and collaboration • Actively uses AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) and is motivated to help mature the team’s practices in this area; experience with telephony/IVR, SIP/VoIP, event-driven systems, or OpenAPI is an asset • Knowledge of French is required for positions located permanently in Quebec so the role holder can communicate as needed with colleagues, partners, and vendors in Quebec • Proficiency in English is required for this role to communicate with colleagues, clients, and partners (or vendors) who are primarily located outside Quebec
