📋 Description

• Write data conversion code to migrate clients to TaxSys software • Use modern Perl and SQL on a Linux/MySQL platform • Use Grant Street Group’s proprietary parallel-computing framework • Debug and resolve errors in client data • Combine technical skills with domain knowledge to troubleshoot elusive data issues • Pair with a data analyst on each conversion • Work from specifications, validate converted data, and incorporate client feedback • Collaborate as part of an agile team to support trouble-free client go-lives

🎯 Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience writing production-quality code • At least 1 year of experience with relational databases and SQL • Perl experience preferred • MySQL experience is a bonus • Linux experience is a plus • BASH shell scripting experience is a plus • Makefiles experience is a plus • Docker or alternative container-management experience is a plus
