📋 Description

• Oversee a sales territory office and mentor Account Managers and Sr. Account Managers • Guide and develop assigned sales territory to achieve sales targets, order volume, and profitability goals • Maintain and build strong business relationships with key customers using knowledge of Greenheck Group products and CAPS software • Listen to and understand customer needs to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions • Sell, promote and market Greenheck products according to customer requirements • Develop and manage a sales plan to increase sales effectiveness and grow new business • Provide product quotes in CAPS to customer Engineering and Purchasing teams • Maintain regular contact with customers, resolve issues, provide design change suggestions and cost reduction ideas • Work with Business Unit team members on product questions and Special Design Requests (SDR’s) • Collaborate with inside sales to clarify customer inquiries, orders, and order status • Proactively develop relationships with purchasing decision makers and explore opportunities to sell additional Greenheck products • Promote facility/corporate visits with strategic customers and attend trade shows and industry functions • Travel as needed within the territory to meet customer expectations • Perform Voice of Customer activities and provide feedback on territory potential and financial goals • Support Sr. Account Managers in identifying and developing business cases for new opportunities • May engage in contract negotiations and provide technical/application assistance to consultants to influence design/specification requirements

🎯 Requirements

• 4 Year / bachelor’s degree in engineering, Sales or related field or equivalent years of job experience required • 6-8 years of relevant work experience in direct sales, outside sales, mechanical engineering, HVAC or other related experience required • 1-2 years of relevant leadership experience required • CRM, AutoCAD, Inventor or similar software experience preferred • Travel is required more than 25% of time • Ability to work primarily from a home office and travel within assigned territory • Ability to provide product quotes in CAPS • Strong customer relationship and sales planning skills
