Grifin is a mobile and web investment platform that automatically turns users' everyday purchases into fractional stock investments, helping people build habitual, incremental investment portfolios. The app connects users' credit and debit cards (via Plaid), aggregates weekly spending, and invests small, customizable amounts—sometimes as little as $1—into the companies where users shop, using adaptive algorithms and automated weekly transfers. Grifin partners with brokerage and advisory firms to provide regulated brokerage services and emphasizes simple, habit-forming investing for new and casual investors.

📋 Description

• Join a lean but fast-growing team to develop key product features. • Shape the culture of the engineering organization. • Drive best practices and explore new problem-solving methods at scale. • Work closely with product and design teams to understand customer needs and represent their voice in architectural solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in professional software engineering • 3+ years building mobile apps, preferably with React Native. • Proficient with MongoDB or similar noSQL databases. • Experienced in ExpressJS for server-side logic. • Familiar with AWS (ECS, EC2, Step Functions, Lambda, SQS). • Skilled in building and securing REST APIs. • Able to integrate APIs into mobile applications. • Passion for mentoring and uplifting the engineering team. • Previous startup success as a founder or very early stage team member. • Part of a successful acquisition or scaled from a Series A to IPO. • You're a yes person - there is always a way to accomplish the task at hand. • You believe everything is solvable.
