📋 Description

• Create innovative, thought-provoking, high-value “must-have insights” content • Develop insights and actionable approaches through thought leadership • Analyze client barriers and needs, identify root causes, and reframe thinking to drive strategy • Establish Insights positions across a team of analysts • Bring independent insights to Gartner leaders and influence research agendas • Research, analyze and predict market trends and shifts • Provide actionable advice to clients and prospects through virtual and face-to-face interactions • Create and deliver presentations for Gartner events, conferences and client briefings • Support BTI and Sales by serving as the voice of the market and driving client engagement • Conduct timely, high-quality content peer reviews • Build credibility as an industry expert representing Gartner insights, methodology and strategy • Participate in innovation, ideation and research discussions; collaborate with Insights peers • Identify research process improvements and develop new processes for service delivery • Mentor and coach junior team members • Encourage regular client engagement with Gartner insights and interactions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred • 12+ years’ experience working in a finance function, ideally with 2+ years of recent AI experience • Career exposure in strategic finance or special projects working with the CFO across finance processes, workflows, data sources and technologies • Forward-looking perspectives on how AI and emerging technology trends reshape finance functions • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate ambiguity into clear narratives and teachings • Executive presence and ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines • Excellence in research and writing • Strong written and verbal proficiency, analytical and presentation skills • Proficiency analyzing and synthesizing data, applying patterns and frameworks, and defending conclusions • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts concisely • Subject matter expertise and comfort presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements • Strong business and financial acumen • Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams in a multicultural global team • Learning agility and ability to navigate highly matrixed environments • Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% where applicable • Fluency in written and spoken English required for daily communication with clients and colleagues in other provinces and the United States
