📋 Description

• Analyze and model financial data, interpret results, and recommend actions supporting organizational goals • Perform forecasting, financial modeling, budgeting, reporting, billing management, and financial operations support across projects and units • Identify trends and suggest optimization strategies and business models • Develop or transform business processes to improve operational efficiency, transparency, and performance management • Ensure compliance with Federal laws and regulations • Collect and synthesize data, model scenarios, produce reports, and present analyses and actionable recommendations to management • Forecast project support levels affecting future cost and revenue performance • Prepare monthly performance reports and explain variances • Assess financial consequences of alternative methods, plans, and strategies • Develop and assist with management of annual operating expense budgets • Drive adoption of Power BI and Power Query to build dashboards and automate workflows • Potentially develop AI-driven models for financial data analysis • Deliver finance transformation initiatives modernizing financial operations and strengthening performance management • Advise senior client executives and ensure alignment with federal financial policies and audit readiness

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field; educational requirement may be waived with four (4) additional years of experience • Seven (7) years or more in financial analysis, budget formulation, and budget execution experience • Experience analyzing, applying problem-solving methods, and using financial modeling to identify solutions to complex problems and make recommendations to senior management • Hands-on experience with data analytics and automation applied to financial management use cases • In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles • Strong communication and project management capabilities • Ability to synthesize complex information and deliver high-impact solutions in fast-paced environments • Candidate must be a US citizen per contract requirement • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust; approved adjudication required prior to onboarding • Advanced degree preferred • Experience with Python, R, SQL, and Power BI preferred • Hands-on experience with AI tools applied to financial management use cases preferred • Travel required up to 10%
