📋 Description

• Define Harvey's global benefits and leave philosophy • Lead benefits plan design and redesign across the US and international markets • Build benefits, wellness, and leave roadmaps and business cases using benchmarking and market analysis • Grow and develop the global benefits team across the US and EMEA • Set service-delivery standards and improve employee support using AI and automation • Create clear, localized benefits communications and partner with Recruiting • Oversee renewals, open enrollment, plan changes, carrier transitions, and new-country launches • Lead the global leave of absence program • Manage brokers, carriers, and third-party administrators, including RFPs, negotiations, contracting, and performance management • Ensure compliance with local regulations and partner on vendor onboarding, data privacy, and risk review • Manage the benefits budget with Finance using utilization, cost, and sentiment data • Report to the Head of Total Rewards and partner with People Operations, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and Recruiting

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in benefits • 3+ years leading and developing a team • Experience ideally in a high-growth technology company • Deep US benefits expertise across health and welfare plan design, 401(k), leave, and compliance (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA and state equivalents) • Experience designing or administering benefits in EMEA and/or APAC • Ability to present plan-design recommendations to executives and resolve Workday eligibility rules • Experience running RFPs, negotiating renewals, and managing global vendors and brokers • Ability to build and defend benefits budgets and model cost scenarios • Exceptional communication skills • Builder mentality and comfort with ambiguity • Experience using AI tools to streamline benefits work
