📋 Description
• Develop and prepare technical designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, specification sheets and other data • Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data. • Review and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics • Review and understand heavy machine operator manuals • Prepare electronic layouts, charts, detailed drawings, bills of material and equipment requirements from machine specifications, and standard layouts provided • Revise computer-aided designs and plans to comply with modified specifications made during actual construction • Review plans and write technical reports to meet project specifications • Ensure proper documentation of all work, products and relevant activities • Take part in peer review processes • Work with internal ERP software • Support field implementations
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent. • 5+ years of experience in an engineering environment • Experience with Computer Aided Design Tools • Experience working with an ISO 9001 environment would be considered an asset • Motivated by challenging work • Experience working in a collaborative, multi-site, team environment • Experience with the operation and maintenance of heavy machinery used in mining or other related industries
