📋 Description

• Direct the overall program and individual project leaders • Interface with multiple customers • Develop and manage plans across subcontractors • Provide program management oversight to a single customer • Coordinate program requirements across planning stages with several subcontractors • Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion • Identify, develop, and implement near-term and long-term business strategies for new products, technologies, services, follow-on products, and/or industries • Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance of company programs • Act as primary customer contact for program activities • Lead program review sessions with customers on cost, schedule, and technical performance • Identify markets and licensing opportunities and determine business and product development feasibility • Coordinate with internal departments on business development projects • Disseminate information to pertinent parties regarding project goals and objectives • Evaluate project milestone progression and modify work to maintain quality and schedule • Engage regularly with key government stakeholders • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules • Identify program problems and obtain solutions, including resource allocation or contractual specification changes • Direct the work of employees assigned to the program

🎯 Requirements

• 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience • Experience in project management of defense contracts • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment • Ability to demonstrate teamwork, innovation, and excellence • Ability to build and maintain relationships with business leaders • Self-motivated and decisive, with ability to adapt to change and competing demands • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills with technical and non-technical staff and all levels of management • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance • Preferred: minimum 15 years of experience in DoD contracting, munitions response, or defense technology programs • Proven success leading large-scale federal contracts and multidisciplinary teams • Strong understanding of FAR/DFAR compliance, proposal development, and contract execution • Demonstrated ability to integrate emerging technologies into operational environments • Extensive experience in joint command operations • PMP Certification is preferred
