📋 Description

• Design and deliver end-to-end user experiences for Humana’s medical benefits products and services • Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, analytics, and research partners to identify opportunities and develop solutions • Use user research, usability testing, analytics, and member feedback to inform design decisions • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs • Advocate for accessibility, inclusivity, and design best practices • Partner with Product and Design teams to ensure consistency throughout the member journey • Present design recommendations and rationale to stakeholders • Incorporate feedback and build alignment across teams • Contribute to collaboration, experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement within the design organization • Support design systems, pattern libraries, and scalable design standards • Improve member satisfaction, healthcare engagement, operational efficiency, and overall experience quality across the medical benefits journey

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • 5+ years of experience in product design • Portfolio demonstrating impactful digital product outcomes • Portfolio showcasing polished, modern, user-centered digital experiences • Strong proficiency with Figma • Experience designing responsive experiences across web, mobile, and desktop platforms • Ability to translate complex business and user requirements into intuitive interfaces • Strong attention to detail, accessibility, usability, consistency, and pixel-perfect execution • Experience designing complex user experiences and end-to-end customer journeys • Strong expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design • Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, including Figma • Understanding of user research methodologies • Experience collaborating with product management, engineering, research, and business stakeholders • Strong communication, presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on design execution • Demonstrated success using design to improve business and customer outcomes • Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload • Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information • Preferred: experience designing healthcare, medical benefits, insurance, or other regulated-industry products and services • Preferred: knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles • Preferred: organizational and prioritization skills for managing multiple initiatives • Preferred: experience with design systems, pattern libraries, and scalable UX standards • Preferred: experience facilitating design workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions • Preferred: familiarity with data-informed design and experimentation methodologies
