📋 Description

• Interact professionally and timely with clients via email, phone, and in-person • Maintain a proactive approach focused on claim strategies and resolutions • Advocate for timely, optimal resolution of claim matters for clients • Communicate pertinent claim information timely to internal and external clients • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients • Apply subject matter knowledge and expertise in the Energy industry, including Oil & Gas, Renewables, and Power Generation • Participate in presentations, including new business, RFPs, claim reviews, and renewals • Develop strong working knowledge of IMA computer systems and programs • Assist the Claim Manager with claim staff onboarding, training, and development • Develop and expand relationships with carriers, TPAs, legal resources, and consultants at local, regional, and national levels • Lead and contribute to Claim Projects and other assigned tasks • Attend insurance-related seminars, including continuing education classes

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of prior Claims experience within the Energy business • Bachelor’s degree or work experience equivalent to a college degree • System skills or aptitude; Applied Epic, Carrier, and TPA platforms preferred • Experience with Microsoft Office products, specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel • Exceptional technical skill and knowledge of coverage and claims handling • Moderate travel required (25–50%) • Excellent communication and negotiation skills • Strong mathematical and reasoning skills required • Ability to discuss and solve claim problems with clients and insurance carriers
