📋 Description

• Design and implement secure, next-generation solutions supporting critical missions • Collaborate with technical leaders, business stakeholders, and a multi-disciplinary team • Contribute to technical strategy while aligning solutions with organizational and program goals • Develop software using Java, JavaScript, and scripting languages • Design data models and web APIs • Create software tasks from system requirements • Perform requirements analysis, design, development, unit testing, and integration testing • Troubleshoot and debug systems • Enhance and maintain existing systems • Design, develop, and document new features • Use Atlassian Tools for day-to-day Scrum tasks • Implement web services, data persistence access features, and external interfaces • Follow Agile software development methodology and team architecture standards • Build and adjust CI/CD pipelines in Azure Cloud • Perform deployments and maintenance as needs and requirements change • Diagnose server and production issues and implement cybersecurity solutions • Mentor junior-level software engineers • Occasional travel to client sites or meetings may be required

🎯 Requirements

• Reside in the continental United States • 7+ years software development experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance issued by the United States Postal Service • United States Citizenship required for eligibility to obtain the security clearance • 5+ years Java development experience • 2+ years Azure Cloud experience • Experience with Java, JavaScript, React, Gradle/Maven, HTML, CSS, and object-oriented programming languages • Experience with architecture and CI/CD environments, including Docker, Ansible, and Jenkins • Experience with Python, Bash, or Perl scripting on Linux servers or environments • Azure Cloud experience and ability to ship a system end to end • Experience with Git and/or Bitbucket • Experience developing user interfaces and front-end technology using CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and React preferred • Gradle experience preferred • Experience designing, developing, enhancing, troubleshooting, and debugging web applications • Experience with version control systems such as Git and/or Bitbucket • Experience developing and integrating complex software systems through the full SDLC • Experience with Agile Scrum • Strong attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication • Authorization to work in the United States • Ability to occasionally lift and carry equipment or materials weighing up to 20 pounds
