📋 Description

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, prepaid amortization, revenue, and adjusting entries • Own assigned portions of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close • Review Sales Order integration for revenue and billing accuracy • Perform and review balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies • Maintain the chart of accounts and ensure accurate transaction classification • Assist with monthly financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules • Perform budget-versus-actual and period-over-period variance analysis • Support budgeting and forecasting activities • Handle payroll accounting and intercompany transactions • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable • Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation calculations • Review expense reports and vendor accounts • Ensure adherence to US GAAP and internal accounting policies • Support audits, tax preparation, and sales/use tax filings • Help design, document, and test internal controls • Review and provide guidance to other team members • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes • Contribute to system implementations, upgrades, and workflow improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close responsibilities • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP • Proficiency with an ERP/accounting system (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage Intacct, SAP, Oracle) • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines • CPA license or actively pursuing CPA (or equivalent certification) (preferred) • Public accounting experience (audit or tax) (preferred) • Experience with revenue recognition (ASC 606), lease accounting (ASC 842), or multi-entity consolidations (preferred)
