📋 Description
• Maintain and improve index builder products. • Troubleshoot and resolve reported issues. • Support user questions and technical inquiries. • Improve stability and performance of index builders. • Optimize compute cost and resource usage. • Persist Yarn logs and Spark history for terminated clusters. • Capture and analyze metrics for UserCohort. • Reduce core instances for EMR high-priority clusters. • Deprecate legacy index builders as Central Exposure Dataset goes live. • Support code freshness and overall platform health.
🎯 Requirements
• Senior level experience (5-7 years) building data-processing or backend systems. • Strong experience in Java (recommended Java 8+ / Java 11). • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark (Spark 2.4+ / Spark 3.x preferred). • Knowledge of distributed systems and data processing workflows. • Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and optimizing compute resources for large-scale data jobs. • Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and support internal users. • Familiarity with AWS EMR or similar big data environments (e.g., Dataproc).
