📋 Description

• Serve as the senior technical owner of the internal infrastructure, security posture, and employee technology • Design, operate, and continuously improve cloud, network, and Microsoft 365 environments • Collaborate on the design, operation, and lifecycle management of CloudStack and supporting public and private cloud platforms, including AWS and GCP • Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and capacity expansion initiatives while minimizing operational disruption • Administer server, virtualization, and storage platforms, including backup, disaster recovery, and recovery validation testing • Design and manage network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, switching, VLANs, and remote access solutions • Own the vulnerability management lifecycle, including assessment, remediation, and reporting • Implement and maintain identity and access management, MFA, endpoint protection, and centralized logging • Partner on SOC 2 and other audit activities, including technical controls, evidence collection, access reviews, and change management • Co-administer Microsoft 365, including identity services, licensing, security policies, and endpoint management • Standardize endpoint provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management across Windows, macOS, and Linux • Monitor system health, performance, and availability, addressing issues proactively • Provide advanced technical support and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Drive operational efficiency through automation, scripting, and tooling • Develop and maintain policies, standards, documentation, and operational runbooks • Manage technology vendors and software licensing through procurement, renewal, and optimization • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements based on business value and operational benefits • Foster team capability through knowledge sharing, documentation, mentoring, and hands-on collaboration • Partner closely with the IS Team Leader on priorities and direction

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure, with demonstrated ownership of production environments • Strong, hands-on expertise in CloudStack or comparable private cloud and virtualization platforms, plus working experience with AWS or GCP • Advanced Microsoft 365 administration, including identity, security, and device management • Solid networking skills: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls • Proven experience in security practices, backup and recovery, and vulnerability management • Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar) • Experience supporting compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 • Strong troubleshooting judgment under pressure, and sound decision-making when requirements are unclear • Excellent written and verbal communication, with clear documentation habits • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is listed as an asset • Certifications such as Security+, CISSP, AWS or Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified, or Network+/CCNA are listed as assets • Experience in a software, telecom, or managed services environment is an asset • Infrastructure-as-code or configuration management experience (Terraform, Ansible) is an asset
