📋 Description

• Design, implement, and own automated test suites across API, UI, and integration layers • Architect reusable test frameworks across multiple services and repositories • Refactor test code to improve coverage, reliability, and execution speed • Collaborate with developers during design and code review to embed quality earlier • Define test coverage standards and gap analyses • Mentor junior QA engineers • Own and maintain QA stages within CI/CD pipelines • Design quality gates for test pass rates, coverage thresholds, and static analysis • Integrate automated tests across development, staging, and production-mirror environments • Implement parallel and distributed test execution • Monitor build health, triage flaky tests, and resolve pipeline issues • Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams on deployment confidence and rollback safety • Design and execute performance, load, and stress tests • Instrument performance test environments using containerized infrastructure • Define and track SLIs/SLOs and validate systems under realistic load • Build and maintain Grafana dashboards for performance and resource analysis • Test Kafka throughput, partition lag, and failure recovery • Profile workflow orchestration pipelines and recommend optimizations • Integrate performance tests into CI/CD on scheduled or per-release bases • Build and maintain Playwright UI test suites for critical workflows and regression scenarios • Implement cross-browser and cross-platform UI testing in Dockerized environments • Design visual regression tests • Integrate E2E UI tests into CI pipelines • Define acceptance criteria with frontend and product teams and automate scenarios • Develop Kafka event-driven architecture test strategies • Test data integrity across MongoDB, ClickhouseDB, and streaming stores • Validate ML model outputs for accuracy, consistency, drift, and edge cases • Add structured metrics and logs to test pipelines for Grafana and alerting • Validate TCP/IP, TR-069, and SNMP networking behavior and protocol compliance • Build Docker images for test environments • Manage Ansible playbooks and roles for repeatable environment provisioning • Contribute to AWS and GCP test infrastructure, including ephemeral environments • Own test environment reliability and distinguish environment failures from product defects

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on software quality engineering experience in a professional software development environment • Strong Java programming skills, including object-oriented design, concurrency, and debugging in Linux/Unix environments • Proficiency in Python for test scripting, data validation, tooling, and automation workflows • Demonstrated experience owning automated test suites with JUnit, Playwright, or equivalent frameworks • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar) • Experience with Docker — building images, managing containers, and running tests in containerized environments • Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, distributed systems concepts, and multi-tiered application architectures • Experience designing and executing performance or load tests and analyzing results (latency, throughput, resource utilization) • Experience with UI/E2E testing methodologies and tooling • Experience working with NoSQL or columnar databases (MongoDB, ClickhouseDB, or similar) • Strong analytical thinking — able to decompose complex systems into testable components and articulate risk clearly • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal); able to document test strategies and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize across competing demands, and proactively unblock others • Preferred / Nice to Have: Experience testing event-driven or streaming systems, particularly Apache Kafka • Preferred / Nice to Have: Familiarity with Apache Airflow, Prefect, or Argo Workflows • Preferred / Nice to Have: Experience building or querying Grafana dashboards • Preferred / Nice to Have: Hands-on experience validating ML/AI model outputs • Preferred / Nice to Have: Experience with Ansible • Preferred / Nice to Have: Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP) • Preferred / Nice to Have: Experience in telecommunications or broadband provider industry • Preferred / Nice to Have: Familiarity with Big Data test methodologies • Preferred / Nice to Have: Experience with shell scripting • Preferred / Nice to Have: Knowledge of network hardware and Layer 2/3 protocols
