📋 Description

• Own day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor management, reimbursements, and payment approvals • Lead monthly close processes, revenue recognition, and financial reporting • Ensure accurate books across the business • Manage tax filings, compliance, and financial operations across multiple jurisdictions • Build financial models, cash flow forecasts, runway analyses, headcount planning, and scenario modeling • Partner with leadership on fundraising, investor reporting, due diligence, and board materials • Improve internal financial processes, policies, and tooling • Support insurance renewals and other operational initiatives • Own the finance function end-to-end as the first finance hire

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience across investment banking, strategic finance, FP&A, corporate finance, or startup finance • Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning • Experience owning month-end close, revenue recognition, accounts payable, and accounts receivable • Ability to build financial models independently and communicate insights that influence business decisions • Ability to operate autonomously and build processes in a fast-moving startup environment • Strong attention to detail and strategic business thinking • Based in the US or Canada
