📋 Description

• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems. • Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives. • Evaluating employee performance, evaluating pay scale, accordingly, assisting with annual reviews, and coordinating disciplinary actions, including terminations if necessary. • Support the performance management process, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions. • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization through orientation, training, and providing necessary resources. • Conduct exit interviews with departing employees to gather feedback, identify trends, and address any concerns or issues related to their departure. • Prepare termination documentation, including termination letters, separation agreements, and related paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the termination process, including adherence to notice periods, severance requirements, State leave laws and final paycheck deadline. • Assist with offboarding activities, such as updating employee records, removing access to company systems, and communicating departure details to relevant departments. • Handle termination-related inquiries and issues/complaints from employees, managers, and other stakeholders, providing guidance and support as needed to maintain positive employee relations.

🎯 Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in human resources roles, with a focus on generalist responsibilities such as benefits, leave adminstrayion, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration. • Previous experience in a similar industry. • In-depth understanding of human resources principles, practices, and regulations, including employment laws, compliance requirements, and best practices. • Familiarity with HRIS systems, recruitment tools, and performance evaluation methods is also desirable. • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with employees, managers, and external stakeholders. • Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary for building positive relationships with employees and fostering a collaborative work environment. • The ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions is essential for addressing employee relations issues, managing conflicts, and resolving HR-related challenges effectively. • Strong organizational and time management skills are required to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced HR environment. • Demonstrated discretion and integrity in handling confidential information, such as employee records, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions, are fundamental requirements for HR Generalist roles. • The HR Generalist should be adaptable and flexible in responding to changing business needs, organizational priorities, and evolving HR trends. • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of human resources, including participation in relevant training programs, seminars, and industry conferences, is valued by employers seeking to hire HR Generalists who are dedicated to continuous learning and growth.
