📋 Description

• Build and maintain data ingestion and processing pipelines using real-time streaming and batch processing • Develop segment evaluation and matching services for on-demand audience resolution • Build high-volume, reliable messaging and delivery pipelines for personalized messages • Develop the shared, composable backbone and APIs for marketing platform capabilities • Architect, build, and maintain backend applications with clean code • Shape the technical direction and roadmap of targeting and CRM platforms • Design and operate reliable, scalable distributed services and data pipelines • Own highly visible platform components and maintain them end-to-end • Collaborate across teams and functions to drive consensus and align goals • Plan, make decisions, ship, and maintain assigned platform surface areas

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience with a proven track record of success • Expertise in Ruby and Go; Python experience is a plus • Solid understanding of Rails or Pandas • Experience designing scalable, reliable distributed systems • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and batch and streaming data pipelines • Proven ability in rigorous unit testing and practical problem-solving • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Must be based in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, or Nova Scotia
