📋 Description

• Build, configure, test, and deploy AI voice agents for patient-facing healthcare interactions • Serve as Aqurio's internal SME for athenahealth and ModMed platform integrations • Manage athenahealth API subscription webhooks, department/provider mappings, patient matching, and appointment booking/cancellation logic • Leverage ModMed Developer APIs across EMA and gGastro to map specialty-specific workflows, procedure block scheduling, and intake requirements • Conduct technical discovery with practice administrators and clinical informatics leads across Dental, Eye Care, GI, and Urology domains • Design and implement bi-directional workflows against native PMS/EHR endpoints for slot discovery, locking, booking, confirmations, cancellations, and reschedules • Navigate intake and patient verification workflows, including duplicate checking, demographic validation, MPI rules, guarantor setup, and patient criteria • Write lightweight Python/TypeScript connectors, data transformations, and webhook listeners interfacing directly with ambulatory EHR APIs • Own end-to-end technical onboarding during customer pilots • Validate scheduling logic against live clinic calendars and resolve implementation edge cases • Contribute as an individual contributor; no supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors in computer science or relevant industry • Prior experience in healthcare technology • Working knowledge of EHR/PM platforms • Understanding of HIPAA data handling requirements • Familiarity with IntelePeer SmartFlow, Genesys, Amazon Connect, Nuance, or similar CCaaS/CPaaS platforms • Hands-on experience with LLM-based agent development • Experience with prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns in production contexts • Experience with ASR/TTS configuration, telephony integration, DTMF handling, and latency-sensitive response tuning • Background contributing to team engineering standards, including testing frameworks, build checklists, documentation templates, or reusable component libraries • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. • Must be able to perform sedentary work, occasional lifting/carrying/standing, frequent hand/eye coordination, computer work, speech communication, and hearing
