📋 Description

• Provide technical support for the Foundation’s monitoring, evaluation and learning efforts, primarily to program staff • Contribute to project assessments and evaluations by designing methodologies, sampling strategies, and data collection tools • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data and communicate findings in user-friendly formats • Support learning and adaptation initiatives, including facilitating reflection sessions • Provide guidance on data collection and analysis, report writing, and infographic development • Assist with reviewing grant-level metrics and data for output, outcome, and impact results • Provide technical MEL support to grantees through training, guiding materials, consultations, and real-time support • Advise grantees on logic models, theories of change, MEL plans, indicators, and evaluation and learning approaches • Travel internationally for data collection, field research, trainings, or learning sessions • Conduct data quality spot checks • Collaborate across the team to complete projects, achieve organizational goals, and advance the Foundation’s Learning agenda • Contribute to equitable and inclusive workplace initiatives • Prepare external MEL communications, including blog posts, articles, and presentations • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in political/social science, international relations, or related field • Minimum three years of professional experience in the international development sector • At least two years of professional experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) related roles • Demonstrated understanding of the program theory-based approach to program design, monitoring and evaluation • Strong knowledge of logical frameworks, performance monitoring plans and indicators • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a virtual work environment • Ability to design and conduct performance evaluations, including methodology and data collection tools • Ability to collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data • Experience designing and administering questionnaires and interviews • Ability to interpret and present data in a meaningful, user-friendly way • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative data analysis software such as SPSS, STATA, R, NVivo, or Dedoose preferred • Significant project management experience and excellent organizational skills • Cultural and gender sensitivity, respectful collaboration, and integrity • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Additional French and Spanish language skills preferred • Passion for and commitment to a more accessible and trustworthy Internet for all • Graduate degree preferred
