📋 Description

• Define, architect, and industrialize advanced cooling technologies, including HVAC, chillers, coolant distribution units (CDUs), and liquid-cooling systems • Translate customer and market needs into scalable, manufacturable, and energy-efficient solutions • Lead system architecture and requirements definition • Drive technical feasibility studies, system trade-offs, and performance optimization across cost, reliability, efficiency, and schedule • Partner with customers, Sales, and Business Units to develop technical solutions supporting strategic growth opportunities • Lead cross-functional design reviews across mechanical, thermal, controls, electrical, manufacturing, and quality teams • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and energy-efficiency targets • Support manufacturing readiness, supply chain strategy, and product industrialization from concept through production • Leverage Jabil's global manufacturing footprint to develop next-generation cooling solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Energy, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field • 10+ years of experience in all relevant HVACR domains and related product development • 5+ years of experience in liquid-cooling systems • 5+ years of experience in system architecture and platform leadership • Strong technical expertise in HVACR market domains and liquid-cooling systems • Experience with heat pumps, chillers, coolant distribution units (CDUs), and refrigerant systems • Strong customer-facing communication and executive presentation skills • Experience collaborating across global teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders • ASHRAE certification strongly preferred • Travel approximately 15–20% • Remote work eligibility within the U.S. or ability to be based at Jabil's St. Petersburg, Florida Gandy Lab
