📋 Description

• Act as a strategic partner to Product, Design, and Engineering from the beginning of initiatives • Build data infrastructure connecting usage events, product analytics, go-to-market data, and financial data • Define and instrument leading indicators and north star metrics for activation and expansion • Design and analyze experiments across the funnel, including pre-test power analysis and hypothesis development • Build predictive models iteratively without a dedicated ML team • Conduct deep analysis and derive actionable next steps for the team • Own insights and proactively share what is and is not working • Create and automate the reporting layer to support interpretation and decision-making • Bring AI into the team's work to expand capabilities • Report directly to the VP of Product Growth and work as the first dedicated data hire embedded in the growth team

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in a growth analytics role at a high-growth technology company • Experience with event-level data pipelines • Knowledge of effective data instrumentation • Ability to design experiments properly, including assessing whether sample sizes support reliable conclusions • Ability to conduct deep analysis and derive meaningful next actions • Ability to build predictive models without a dedicated machine learning team • Comfort working before data infrastructure is ready • Candidates must be currently living and working in Canada • Must be eligible to work in Canada without employer sponsorship • Jane cannot support relocation, visa sponsorship, or employment through a third party or employer of record
