📋 Description

• Manage a consulting portfolio of approximately 15–20 partner districts nationwide • Guide partners through the full cycle of JED’s programs through consultation and coaching • Provide technical assistance on best practices in school mental health, programming, and policies • Analyze and synthesize data to develop feedback reports, strategic plans, and partner support resources • Lead development of data-informed strategic plans addressing mental health support and suicide prevention • Support communications planning and community engagement efforts • Curate and develop mental health and suicide prevention activities, materials, presentations, and resources • Recommend evidence-based strategies and creative solutions for partner challenges • Collaborate with internal teams to develop materials and collateral supporting program delivery • Advise partners on assessments, surveys, data collection, continuous evaluation, and effectiveness measurement • Update strategic plans with measurable progress and track program metrics in Salesforce • Build and maintain relationships with partner leaders • Monitor partner progress, project timelines, and program milestones • Assist partners with implementation-phase project management • Serve as a content expert on JED’s comprehensive approach and systems-wide school mental health transformation • Facilitate convenings, learning series, trainings, workshops, and educational programming • Support Senior Consultants and leadership with landscape analyses, report generation, and consulting initiatives • Support internal projects, content development, consultant training, advocacy, recruiting, and community engagement functions as assigned • Independently determine day-to-day technical assistance approaches and strategic recommendations, escalating complex matters to senior leadership

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of master’s level training in education, educational leadership, counseling, psychology, social work, or related field required • At least 5-7 years professional experience working within, or in direct partnership with, PK-12 or higher education systems in Idaho, Montana, or Wyoming • Experience in campus, district, or organizational level leadership preferred • Strong technical knowledge of school based mental health, Social Emotional Learning, suicide prevention, and substance use prevention • Deep knowledge of relevant education systems and systems-level change, including data, daily operations, and the current educational landscape • Strong research, analytical, and critical thinking abilities • Ability to analyze and apply data to draw meaningful conclusions • Experience leading, building, and managing education programs and collaborating with education leaders • Experience in research and evaluation methodology strongly preferred • Excellent verbal communication • Excellent written communication and report-style drafting experience • Excellent presentation skills and comfort presenting to large groups, including senior leadership • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills • Experience establishing new partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining high partner engagement • Experience with Salesforce, Asana, or other CRM/project management systems strongly preferred • Ability to travel nationwide and to JED headquarters in NYC regularly, up to 40% travel • Must reside in Idaho, Montana, or Wyoming • Must live within approximately 60 minutes of an airport • Must have the ability and desire to travel to partner districts, conferences, regional internal meetings, and JED headquarters in NYC
