📋 Description

• Research regulatory, consumer protection, and product questions • Turn legal research findings into clear recommendations for business leaders • Own complex consumer escalations and regulatory inquiries • Identify root causes and potential legal issues • Propose scalable fixes and convert recurring issues into company-wide compliance training • Review product features, user flows, and policies with Product, Engineering, and Operations • Translate legal requirements into product and operational decisions • Manage entity compliance across U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions • Identify risks early and build systems to prevent compliance lapses • Lead compliance audits and monitor high-risk areas • Monitor intellectual-property infringements and support enforcement strategy • Draft cease-and-desist letters • Replace repetitive legal work with AI, low-code, and automated workflows • Present analysis and recommendations to Legal and business leaders • Track open items, filings, audits, deadlines, and recurring legal operations work

🎯 Requirements

• JD or LLM • Record of high academic performance • Strong legal research and writing skills • Ability to turn complex legal analysis into clear, practical recommendations • Strong organization and project-management skills • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously • Demonstrated interest in using AI and technology to improve legal work, such as building a tool, automation, or process • Must currently reside in AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MA, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, or Ontario, Canada for full-time salaried employment • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada
