📋 Description

• Teach and develop online courses in Teacher Education and Literacy Education • Maintain pedagogical and subject matter expertise • Create an inclusive and positive learning environment for diverse learners • Adhere to National University’s academic integrity policy • Maintain a productive scholarship agenda • Engage in scholarly activities for professional growth • Participate in professional development • Participate in curriculum oversight, shared governance, and the student experience • Serve on program, department, school, college, or university committees • Engage in community activities promoting program outreach and university goals • Participate in program meetings and advisory boards • Contribute to programmatic strategies supporting program quality, student engagement, and student success • Conduct research and lead clinical practice and curriculum initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Terminal degree in education or related discipline required • Currently a resident of California for California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) purposes required • Active, valid teaching credential in California required • Teaching and scholarly experience in literacy education required • Online higher education teaching experience with a diverse student body preferred • Background check required • Commitment to serving a diverse adult student body • Ability to teach and develop online courses in Teacher Education and Literacy Education
