📋 Description
• Assess content damages and provide valuations related to the property insurance field • Visit post-loss sites to inspect and collect information for estimates and reports • Collect information and photo-journal personal property contents • Provide replacement costs and depreciated cash value valuations for personal and commercial losses • Qualify and quantify damaged contents through site inspections • Prepare replacement cost and depreciated cost appraisal reports • Analyze and compile data using estimating software, databases, and proprietary software • Coordinate communications between all stakeholders • Establish costs, depreciation, and location pricing impacts • Review final appraisal packages for accuracy and completeness before submission and recommendation • Participate in and complete internal and external training • Perform additional assignments per manager's direction • Travel as required to fulfill duties
🎯 Requirements
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for transportation for company business • Proficient computer knowledge of Microsoft Office applications • Ability to learn various electronic and manual estimating systems • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Strong analytical skills • Effective communication skills • Previous experience in a Customer Service • Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required by the work site • Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections • Able to climb ladders to reach high areas or roofs • Must be able to write reports of findings after inspections • Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and for CAT response when needed
