📋 Description

• Develop and own company BIM standards, BIM Execution Plan templates, LOD matrices, and modeling specifications • Establish and enforce model authoring standards across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and controls disciplines • Define clash detection and coordination workflows using Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360 • Drive model-based quantity takeoff, 4D scheduling, and model-based estimating improvements • Evaluate, select, and standardize BIM/VDC software platforms • Provide BIM/VDC leadership and technical review across project phases from schematic design through turnover • Review and approve BIM Execution Plans and federated models from external engineers, contractors, and subcontractors • Oversee federated models, clash detection reports, and coordination logs • Lead BIM-driven value engineering and evaluate constructability, prefabrication, and schedule impacts • Support RFP development, bid evaluation, and BIM/VDC consultant and trade coordination partner selection • Oversee construction-phase BIM administration, RFI tracking, as-built model updates, and turnover documentation • Build, mentor, and lead the internal BIM/VDC team • Manage relationships with engineers, general contractors, trade subcontractors, and BIM/VDC consultants • Collaborate with engineering teams on MEP modeling for coordination and prefabrication • Partner with commissioning and facilities/operations teams on as-built documentation, digital twin, and DCIM integration • Present BIM/VDC strategy and technology investment recommendations to executives, customers, and investors • Develop digital twin, reality capture, and AI-assisted clash detection roadmaps • Monitor BIM standards including ISO 19650 and NBIMS-US • Participate in industry organizations and contribute to thought leadership

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive BIM/VDC experience • Demonstrated experience leading BIM/VDC coordination on hyperscale, colocation, or other large-scale mission-critical construction projects • Experience as a technical owner or discipline lead for BIM/VDC on large capital projects • Prior experience managing or mentoring BIM staff and external consultants or trade coordination teams • Deep knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)/BIM 360, and Civil 3D • Proficiency in clash detection, model federation, and multi-discipline coordination workflows • Strong knowledge of LOD frameworks, BIM Execution Planning (BEP), and ISO 19650 information management principles • Experience with 4D scheduling and model-based quantity takeoff and estimating tools • Familiarity with LiDAR scanning, photogrammetry, drone survey, and scan-to-BIM workflows • Familiarity with DCIM and digital twin platforms and as-built model handoff • Ability to translate complex BIM/VDC concepts for non-technical audiences including executives and investors • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and competing priorities • Excellent written and verbal communication; experience authoring design standards and technical specifications • Collaborative experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced development environments • Bachelor's in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
