📋 Description

• Develop high-performance, scalable, and maintainable features of the backend system and/or test framework • Debug and resolve software issues across the stack • Use automated test infrastructure to ensure code works correctly and performs well • Design and implement tests at all test levels, including unit, subsystem, integration, and contract testing • Perform additional projects as needed • Work within the Maestro Core team developing the versioned database at the base of the technology stack

🎯 Requirements

• Students in Computer Science or related programs • Must be currently enrolled in full-time education or be a recent/upcoming graduate within 12 months of the placement end date • Programming experience with one object-oriented programming language (Go, Rust, C++, C# or any other modern language preferred) • Insatiable drive for improving performance • Good collaborative skills and positive attitude • Creative thinker with problem-solving skills and a strong drive to explore and experiment • Experience with AI-driven software development (helpful) • Database and/or query engine concepts (helpful) • Previous co-op work terms or internships (helpful)
