• Process and administer monthly payroll for employees • Maintain and update payroll systems to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation and deductions • Verify and reconcile payroll data, including timesheets, commissions, bonuses, and other adjustments • Address employee inquiries regarding payroll and deductions in a timely and professional manner • Prepare payroll reports and support management • Work with management and accounting to ensure payroll data is complete and accurate for timely submission • Respond to, research and resolve employee questions and problems in an accurate and timely manner • Ensure complete confidentiality with payroll records, payroll data and personal information • Proactive communication to management and payroll staff for items impacting payroll, such as changes to procedures, schedule requirements, processing delays, or errors • Timely communication to management and payroll staff of deficiencies, errors or other items that impact the accuracy and timeliness of the payroll and team member paychecks • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all company software licenses, subscriptions, and usage • Monitor license renewals, usage limits, and compliance with vendor agreements • Track employee access to software tools, ensuring permissions align with roles and responsibilities • Create and maintain documentation related to software subscriptions, including vendor contacts, pricing, and usage terms • Conduct weekly audits of software usage to eliminate redundant or underutilized tools • Support teams in troubleshooting software-related issues • Participate in leadership functions and capacities as required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred • 4 years of experience in payroll processing and administration • Experience with software tracking and vendor management is highly desirable • Strong understanding of payroll and software management tools • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google and familiarity with database management • Excellent organizational and time-management skills • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion • Effective communication skills to interact with employees, management, and vendors • Familiarity with software asset management (SAM) tools is a plus
