📋 Description

• Develop state of the art instruments to collect data for exploration programs • Simulate, characterize, and calibrate sensor performance and design data acquisition systems • Collaborate with vendors and partners to build hardware • Work with operations staff to deploy hardware in the field • Build models using sensor data to predict ore-grade locations • Create a worldwide dataset for exploration with uncertainty quantification • Identify new opportunities and technologies for geophysical data collection • Design field programs to collect geoscientific data

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb and synthesize complex information • Exceptional curiosity and eagerness to learn • Successful track record of developing complex equipment with cross-disciplinary teams • Physical measurement and data analysis systems experience • Applying scientific knowledge to identify and prototype emerging technologies • Systems integration and data acquisition experience • Extensive experience with Python’s data science packages • Collaborative software development with git • Familiarity with SQL and non-relational databases • Experience deploying sensors in the field
