📋 Description

• Perform day-to-day administration of Salesforce development and test environments • Develop web applications following modern industry standards and best practices • Use object-oriented programming to maximize code reuse and flexibility • Operate in an Agile software development environment while satisfying the government’s Waterfall-style project stage gates • Interact daily with system and business analysts to clarify requirements • Complete design and implementation tasks under lead architect guidance • Receive and incorporate lead architect feedback on completed tasks • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to reconcile business requirements with legacy-system integrations • Contribute technical designs, including detailed data flows and data schemas • Develop and deploy new and updated applications and code during release cycles • Test and debug applications • Inspect system logs to troubleshoot user problems • Support the Salesforce Administrator in system maintenance • Create technical documentation describing solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field from an accredited college or university • 2–4 years of Salesforce Development or Administration experience • Platform Developer I certification • Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical IT stakeholders • Ability to work in a team environment under the direction of a technical lead • Experience developing Apex classes and triggers, Custom Lightning Components, and Visualforce • Application development using Visualforce pages, Lightning pages, and Lightning Web Components • Experience assisting with application releases and deployments • Proficiency with Salesforce CLI and SFDX • Experience deploying Salesforce applications using package.xml deployment files • Experience working with integrated applications via web services and middle-tier applications such as Mulesoft • Experience setting up Salesforce Community Portal • Experience setting up Single Sign-On integrations with Active Directories • Experience with unit and systems testing and debugging • Experience inspecting system logs to troubleshoot user problems • Knowledge of coding best practices and data quality • Extensive experience maintaining and creating Salesforce Flows • Familiarity with Agile Development Methodology, especially Scrum • Ability to obtain Public Trust
