• Safely operate heavy equipment in accordance with project requirements and Ledcor safety standards • Perform excavation, grading, loading, material handling, and earthmoving activities • Operate excavators (25T, 35T, and 60T), D6 dozers, 16M graders, and 950/966 loaders • Complete pre-trip inspections and daily equipment reports • Work closely with supervisors, survey teams, and other operators to achieve production and quality targets • Maintain awareness of construction hazards • Adhere to all Ledcor and project safety policies, procedures, and site requirements • Support site development, mass excavation, grading, pad construction, and related earthworks activities
• 3+ years experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment in a construction, mining, or earthworks environment • Proven operating experience on excavators, dozers, graders or loaders • Ability to read and follow site plans, grade stakes, and construction layouts • Experience using GPS machine control systems and without is preferred • Grade control experience on excavators, dozers, and graders is considered an asset • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork • Valid driver's license and 3 years drivers abstract • CSTS-2020 Fundamentals ticket • Ground Disturbance Level 2 certification • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
