📋 Description

• Perform complex electricity market modeling and transmission congestion analysis utilizing the PROMOD market simulation model with security constrained economic dispatch (SCED) • Analyze study results to develop study deliverables that provide meaningful and actionable solutions for clients • Manage client engagements and ongoing client relationships • Present study results and findings to client executives • Research key energy market operational processes and current issues/trends • Conduct business development activities through internal collaboration and directly with clients and prospects • Develop and expand key client relationships • Support projects and project team members independently and in collaboration with colleagues and managers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Math, Science, Finance or related with four plus years of relevant experience • Experience in energy markets with modeling software such as PROMOD IV, Encompass, UPLAN, or Plexos • Experience in the electricity industry conducting economic studies of conventional and renewable generation • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with proven ability to lead and communicate project results both verbally and in writing • Strong knowledge and interest in power markets with understanding of basic transmission system operations and nodal (LMP) price formation • Proven ability to effectively communicate with both clients and staff
