📋 Description

• Function as a Civil/Structural Consulting Engineer responsible for independent engineering design reviews; this is not a design position • Review civil and structural designs for new and existing power generation projects, including wind, solar, hydro, battery energy storage, and thermal projects • Support Project Managers during transactional due diligence reviews • Review applicable design codes, EPC contract specifications, and manufacturer drawings and calculations • Provide subject matter expertise in civil and structural design and review of specifications, drawings, and calculations • Assist with monitoring and managing projects, developing sales proposals, and completing technology/bankability reviews • Provide Owner’s Engineering and Advisory support

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering • Eight plus years of experience working on industrial, power delivery, or power generation project designs or other relevant experience • Ability to communicate effectively with internal staff and external parties • Experience providing high-level reviews of finite element analysis models, calculations, design drawing packages, and design basis/methodology • Competency with civil, structural, and geotechnical design codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC, and AISI • Familiarity with structural analysis software including STAAD or RISA 3D • Ability to meet client deadlines on multiple projects under pressure • Ability to manage schedules for multiple project reviews simultaneously • Willingness to travel for project site visits, potentially internationally • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Adobe/Bluebeam
