📋 Description

• Administer and maintain the SEC storage area network (SAN) environment, including EMC and NetApp systems • Perform day-to-day administration, provisioning, monitoring, and optimization of NetApp Clustered Data ONTAP • Ensure storage availability, reliability, and performance for enterprise applications, databases, virtual workloads, and user data • Execute storage lifecycle tasks, configuration management, patching/firmware updates, and operational health checks • Design and implement vendor-agnostic storage solutions across multi-vendor environments • Integrate storage services with backup, virtualization, and disaster recovery components • Implement and support NetApp SnapMirror, SnapVault, and SnapCenter data protection workflows aligned with Veritas NetBackup • Provide technical leadership on SAN architecture, standards, and implementation approaches • Lead incident analysis, triage, escalation, resolution, and root-cause analysis for production storage events • Coordinate with enterprise operations stakeholders during high-priority incidents • Contribute to SLA-driven reporting, documentation, and service improvement • Monitor storage utilization, growth trends, and performance indicators • Develop capacity forecasts and recommendations • Plan storage expansions, rebalancing, and performance tuning • Identify and implement improvements to resiliency, efficiency, and service quality

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizens only • Must not hold dual citizenship with any other country • Ability to obtain and maintain SEC Public Trust • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering • 4+ years of experience managing SANs, specializing in EMC and NetApp systems • Experience with NetApp Clustered Data ONTAP software • NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) certification or equivalent required • Experience leading analysis, identification, and resolution of storage-related IT incidents in enterprise environments • Experience with EMC and NetApp enterprise storage administration • Knowledge of NetApp Clustered Data ONTAP (cDOT) • SAN capacity monitoring and forecasting • Multi-vendor storage integration using vendor-agnostic design principles • Preferred: experience supporting federal IT environments with strict security/compliance requirements • Preferred: enterprise-scale storage environments with multi-site replication and disaster recovery coordination • Preferred: advanced NetApp certification beyond NCDA or comparable senior storage certification • Preferred: integrating storage services with VMware ecosystems and enterprise backup platforms • Preferred: ITIL Foundation or higher and automation/scripting for storage operations and reporting • Preferred certifications include NCSE, NCSIE, Dell EMC Proven Professional, and ITIL 4 Foundation
